SUPER 8

Basically after a lot of "humming" and "hooing" my friends and I decided on going to see Super 8 in the pictures today. We were having trouble deciding what to do (staying in, just going out, pictures, shopping etc) but eventually (eenie meanie minie mo it came down to) we just said "right lets do it". After waiting like half an hour on a bus (that is meant to come every 10 minutes!!) we got there and just made the film. Until I googled it there I was really confused at why it was called Super 8 as I thought it had something to do with the characters but there was only 6 characters that "witnessed" the crash, turns out it has something to do with a camera due to the fact the characters were making a film.. Anyway, it was quite a good film, quite a few jumpy bits that made my heart race and my hands fly to my face! I got home at 5 to have my dinner and then I went back out.
Today the soundtrack of my day has been "Mumford & Sons: Sigh No More". I wasn't the nicest towards the album at first, saying that I only liked one of their songs but my friend gave me a loan of the CD and it hasn't been out of my player all morning/evening. It is a beautiful album and hearing the different instruments is wonderful. Definite recommendation!
