I'm so cold, so tired and so annoyed with life right now.
In other news I passed my chemistry nab with 26/30 but someone failed so everyone has to sit another one next Friday, more studying!

Okay, so technically I am posting a picture of me today, it just happens that it's not of my face.. Again, my camera failed me so I still can't do my nail review! It was actually my friend that gave me inspiration for this post today because she asked me the other day "How do you grow your hair so long?". It's a question I'm often asked when I wear my hair down and I always answer with the same answer "I don't know." Tonight during dinner I sat and was playing with my hair and thinking, how did I grow my hair so long?! So today, I will post MY tips on how I grew my hair so long. BUT remember, these may not work for everyone, everyone's hair is different and I have been growing my hair since I was around 13/14. Please don't come back to me and say "Oh your tips didn't work, that's not fair blah blah blah" because as I've stated, this is MY PERSONAL tips on how I grew MY OWN hair.
So, here we go!
001. Time. It does take a hell of a lot of time and at times it can get very frustrating. This may sound stupid but I know certain people who say "I want long hair but nothing I'm doing is helping it grow" and they've only been growing it for around 1 month. It doesn't work like that, you can't just click your fingers and have long hair - sadly - you will have to go through some hellish bad hair days when you want to just cut it all off but eventually it will get to where you want it.
002. Products. The less products I use, the better. I haven't used hairspray (minus parties and where I have to use it to keep it in place) for around a year now and my hair has really felt the difference. I occasionally use mouse when I remember but usually I leave it and use no products what so ever. I'm not saying stop completely with your beloved products but if you cut down your hair will feel the difference and with it growing it will also become softer and shinier (well for me it does).
003. Washing. Don't get me wrong here, I'm not saying stop showering completly oh god no! Just if you go in the shower use a shower cap and don't constantly wash your hair. For me, I wash my hair every second or third night and only twice do I use conditioner. Since I've stopped using so much product I've not felt the need to wash my hair daily because I no longer have the stickyness from hairspray and if I do wake up with slightly greasy hair I use talc to help with that!
004. Bobbles. Sounds so stupid but when you put your hair up in a bobble (either in a bun, plait, or pony) it starts breaking strands off which can really damage your hair! Whilst growing it I suggest trying not to put your hair up as often because of the breakages and it did help me a lot! I now put my hair up very often to keep it out of my face and I've noticed that when I take it out my hair does snap and it has effected my hair growth.
005. Heat. Pretty common one, straightners, tongs, hair dryers. I try and avoid them at all costs apart from parties and things like that. If you put less heat on your hair than it doesn't damage it as much and your hair is more likely to grow. I can't comment so much on this point because even before I started growing it I never used heat so much on my hair.
I hope these points have kind of helped you in growing your hair! It's probably just like everyone else's points but these really did help me when I was growing mines but all I can say is, be prepared for wanting to cut all of your hair off and getting very aggravated at it! Even now I still get mad at my hair but I just throw it up in a messy bun and hope for the best!

001. Still trying to catch up on my sleep so sorry for the very, very tired looking face. But on the plus side the monstrosity that was on the side of my lip (aka my coldsore) has gone away so I'm in a happy mood. Just hoping that I get enough sleep so they don't return, they look so bad and make my lips ache like mad.
002. Tomorrow I'm off with my class to see a French film (lol, guess who'll be sleeping?) in Glasgow. The thought of walking to the train station in the morning does not appeal and sitting through a film having to read subtitles (and wearing my glasses, ugh) then having a """discussion""" about it after with the other higher French students makes me want to shoot myself. I know n.o.t.h.i.n.g about French and well I'm mainly hoping that there will be a pretty boy there that I can look at throughout the day.
003. After school tomorrow I also have my first session with my biology tutor which I'm kinda nervous about. It's the first time I'll be getting a tutor and well I'm scared incase I mess up which sounds so silly. She sounds really nice over the phone and my friend has the same woman and she said that she's so lovely which makes me feel slightly better.
004. My week has been uneventful and therefore not a lot to write about - even this weekend has been rubbish as I've hardly left my room. Tidying, studying and homework have taken over my life and there is nothing I can do to stop it.
